Low-emissivity (Low-E) coated glass is produced by depositing layers of low-emissivity materials such as silver and metal oxides onto the surface of the glass, which gives the glass a distinct appearance in various colors.
This coating significantly reduces the U-value of the glass while selectively lowering the shading coefficient (Sc), thereby enhancing the glass’s energy-saving performance.
