The basic knowledge of glass lens coating of pvd coating machine, we all know that any object has a reflection effect on light, which is why we can see things. For the lens, in order to allow the light to completely pass through the lens and fully reflect the real situation of nature on the negative, the lens is best for all kinds of light to pass through completely. High-quality optical glass, its light transmittance can reach 90%

Above, the remaining light loss needs to be covered with a film on the surface of the lens to make up. Therefore, the optical lens is mainly coated with anti-reflection coating, also called anti-reflection coating. In order to meet various requirements, multi-layer coatings are often required. In order to improve the scratch resistance of glass, the outermost layer is often a high hardness film. In the laboratory, modern technology can achieve almost 100% light transmission. The reason for this is that in actual use, the lens will be more or less affected by dust, dirt, etc., so that the light passing through the lens is reduced. There are many methods of coating, but there are only a few conventional methods.
       (1) Chemical methods, including sol-gel method, chemical vapor deposition and other methods. Prepare a solution of certain components according to the properties of the membrane, then:
       1. Dip plating. Heat the clean glass to a certain temperature, then put it into the prepared chemical solution, take it out, and dry it. This film is obviously a double face mask.
       2. Spray plating. Load the prepared film solution on a spray gun and spray onto a clean, hot glass surface. drying. The glass body can be moved or rotated to increase film uniformity. Can be plated on both sides or on one side. (In the past, the so-called glue-spinning method was used for lens coating, but due to uneconomical reasons, it has been eliminated in the modern process of coating inorganic films, but it is still a common and low-cost method for coating organic films).
(B), physical coating method. The physical coating method of pvd coating machine has many different forms such as vacuum evaporation, ion coating, sputtering coating (all can be attributed to physical vapor deposition). It is mostly used for metallized film, reflective film, etc. like a mirror. Generally, the coating strength of chemical methods is generally lower than that of physical methods, but with the rapid development of coating technology, especially in the past one or two decades, the effect achieved by chemical or physical methods is no different. It's just a difference in cost. In the past, the chemical method could only coat one layer of film. When plating the second layer, the upper film was often damaged due to the influence of temperature, but the modern technology has basically solved this problem.
