Commonly used aluminized substrates are polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA), polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other films, process requirements; The vacuum degree shall not be less than 103PA to avoid brown streaks or uneven thickness of aluminum layer; Control the tension of the system, turn on the cooling system, and avoid the tensile deformation of the film when heated; Precise control of coiling speed (280 ~ 320m/min), aluminum feed speed (0.4 ~ 0.7m /min? 2mm aluminum wire) and evaporation boat heating current to obtain the aluminum layer thickness required by the product (100 ~ 300A°); In advance, the film can be coated with a certain dry amount of primer, and fully dry, and then vacuum aluminum plating, can improve the bonding force between the aluminum layer and the film. Then, a certain amount of protective resin is coated on the aluminum film to prevent the oxidation and deterioration of the aluminum layer. The aluminized film formed by this process is resistant to friction and not easy to deteriorate.

Vacuum aluminum plating common quality problems and solutions are as follows:
1. Brown streaks appear on the surface of the film
The reason:
① Solution of low vacuum degree: clean aluminum feeding, evaporation device, cooling system, unwinding, winding device and guide roller in vacuum room; Check the vacuum pumping system; Reduce the ambient humidity.
② The film releases gas. Solution: film pre-drying; Extend the vacuum time.
③ Too much aluminum spray. Solution: improve the speed; Reduce the evaporation boat current; Reduce the aluminum feed speed.
④ There are impurities in the evaporation boat. Solution: Clean evaporation boat and heat shield plate.
⑤ evaporation boat aging. Solution: Replace the evaporation boat.
2. Holes appear in the film when aluminum is plated
The reason:
① The aluminum material in the evaporation boat is too full. Solution: reduce the speed of aluminum feed; Increase evaporation boat current.
② There is a short circuit between the evaporation boats in the vacuum chamber. Solution: Eliminate short circuit.
③ Splash of impurities in the vacuum room
Solution: Clean the vacuum interior wall, feeding aluminum evaporation device, cooling drum, unwinding, winding device and each guide roller.

The reason:
① The substrate tension is too large. Solution: Adjust the tension control system of unwinding and winding to properly reduce the tension.
② Cooling system is not working properly. Solution: Check the cooling system and troubleshoot.
