pvd coating machine aluminum plating is to heat and melt aluminum metal to transpiration in a vacuum state, and aluminum atoms condense on the surface of polymer materials to form a very thin aluminum layer. Vacuum aluminizing requires the surface of the substrate to be lubricated, flat, and uniform in thickness; the stiffness and friction coefficient are appropriate; the surface tension is greater than 38Dyn/Cm2; below 0.1%. Commonly used aluminized substrates are polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA), polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other films. So what are the common problems of pvd coating machine aluminum plating?

 1. Holes appear in the film during aluminum plating
       reason:
①The aluminum material in the transpiration boat is too full. Solution: reduce the speed of aluminum feeding; increase the current of the transpiration boat.
② There is a short circuit between the evaporation boats in the vacuum chamber. Solution: Clear the short circuit.
③Splash of impurities in the vacuum chamber
       2. The film is stretched when aluminized
       reason:
①The tension of the substrate is too high. Solution: adjust the tension control system of unwinding and coiling to properly reduce the tension.
②The cooling system works abnormally. Solution: Check the cooling system and remove the fault.

When the vacuum unit is working, it needs to be checked by professional technicians. So what are the main points of the operation check of the pvd coating machine?
First of all, it is necessary to ensure the normal entry and exit of circulating cooling water during work; the acoustic response of the vacuum unit should be uniform during operation, there is no noise and there is no irregular abnormal vibration during operation. Then it is necessary to pay attention to the motor load and the temperature rise of various parts of the pump. Under normal circumstances, the maximum temperature rise of the vacuum pump should not exceed 40 °C, and the maximum working temperature should not exceed 80 °C. Then, in the process of work, if oil leakage is found, the work should be stopped immediately, and inspection and repair should be carried out after the pressure is released.
