ITO (indium tin oxide) conductive glass is made by magnetron sputtering with indium tin oxide (ITO) film on the basis of sodium calcium or silicon boron based glass. In the flat panel display industry, it is mainly used in the field of touch screen and LCD panel. Tp-ito conductive glass is applied in touch screen field, while lcd-ito conductive glass is applied in LCD panel field. The main difference between the two is that before ITO coating, lcd-ito conductive glass will be coated with a layer of silica barrier layer to prevent sodium ions from diffusing into the liquid crystal inside the cell. In order to obtain more uniform display control, the substrate glass of high-end lcd-ito glass should be polished before ITO coating. Lcd-ito conductive glass substrate is generally super float glass, and all coating surfaces are float tin surface of glass.

ITO is a kind of metal compound with good transparent and conductive properties. It has the characteristics of bandgap, high light transmittance in visible spectrum and low resistivity. It is widely used in flat panel display devices, solar cells, special function window coating and other photoelectric devices. It is the only transparent conductive electrode material for LCD, PDP, OLED, touch screen and other flat panel display devices. As the key basic material of flat panel display devices, it has a broader market space with the continuous updating and upgrading of flat panel display devices. According to the design scheme, touch screen is divided into plug-in type, on-cell type, in-cell type, in which ITO conductive glass is required to be used as touch electrode, and stability is considered at the same time with consumers' requirements for lightweight.
